And I'm Erica.
00:08 Marco
And today we're gonna be bringing you a great lesson about calling the office.
00:11 Erica
Yeah, that's right.
00:12 Erica
So in this lesson, we're going to teach you some great words that you can use when you need to call your office to solve a problem.
00:20 Marco
Right. So you are at home, you have a problem, maybe you can't go to the office.
00:24 Marco
So you have to call them and tell them that you're not gonna be able to go.
00:29 Marco
All right, so we're not gonna preview anything today because the dialogue is relatively easy.
00:34 Marco
So let's listen to the dialogue for the first time, and then we'll come back and look at some words.

01:50 Erica
Yeah, pretty simple.
01:51 Marco
All right. So there are a couple of words that we want to look at, so let's start with language takeaway.
01:59 Erica
All right, well today we're looking at three interesting words.
02:02 Erica
The first one is Ufle.
02:04 Marco
Ufle. Ufle. Ufle.
02:07 Erica
Marco, what is the Ufle?
02:10 Marco
All right, so when you have the Ufle, it means that you are sick. You have, um, it's very similar to a cold.
02:16 Erica
Right, but just worse, right?
02:19 Marco
So, when you have the Ufle, it'll keep you in bed for a while, for maybe a week or two.
02:24 Erica
So you have a fever, um, your your body is hurting.
02:28 Erica
You just you're really sick.
02:30 Marco
Yeah, you're really sick.
02:31 Marco
Okay. So, Ufle.
02:33 Erica
All right, well what about our next word?
02:35 Marco
Well, actually the next word is a phrase that you can use when you're calling the office: All in K in Ixay.
02:41 Erica
All in K in Ixay.
02:43 Marco
All in K in Ixay.
02:45 Erica
Okay, this is a really useful phrase and I think it would help us to hear some examples of what it sounds like so we can understand the meaning.

Or fa eepul pay od K in ik say u de te.

So let's take a look at our last word for language takeaway.
03:37 Marco
Okay, so it's a pretty simple word. Ecover Ray means to get better, to start feeling healthy again.
03:44 Marco
Okay, so kind of to recharge your battery.
03:47 Erica
Exactly. So this is a great verb to use when you want to say, I'm going to feel better.
03:55 Marco
